A day full of enjoying our moving body, from the inside out, with mobility and stability, with ease and softness and with expression and strength. Welcoming yourself into your body, in connection with the space / the other. The Laban Bartenieff Movement System as inspiration and design.

Many people have requested a follow-up on previous lessons/trainings, or have asked about the possiblity to reconnect with the body in movement and dance for just one day. That is exactly what we will do in these 'somatic dance' days: relax, connect, play and dance!
These individual days are intended to (re)invest in the connection with ourselves and our body, and from there enjoying the moving body in space. For everyone, with or without experience, who is willing to play and explore and get moving!
Though principles of the Bartenieff Fundamentals, I will guide you to experience connections in the body, to move with ease and awareness. This organic, soft way of moving will then form the basis for more expressivity and dancing through space. We increase our spatial awareness and our ability to shape ourselves accordingly. We move and dance together and alone, from the inside out, but also with attention to inside and outside at the same time. Welcoming yourself, also in connection with others or the space...
The 'Laban Bartenieff Movement System' is my basis for inspiration and guidance through these days, but my experience with Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, (modern) dance, etc. will also help shape the days.
You can register for 1 day, or for both. Welcome!
These days will take place in Maastricht, the location will be announced later.
Cost:
€110 for 1 day, €195 for both days
